Real apps, built on MapMap.
Not mock-ups. Every demo below is the real, running app: mapping, routing and live data, all on the MapMap SDK and gateway. Use them right here in the phone.
EV charging app
A modern EV-charging companion for a nationwide rapid-charge network: the finder, the map and the charge session, rebuilt properly.
909 real UK charging sites on a branded MapMap map: clustered, colour-coded by live availability, and filterable down to the connector and power you need. Tap any site for live status, per-connector speed, transparent peak / off-peak pricing and a predicted-availability read for when you'll actually arrive.
The hard parts are the ones drivers care about: a range ring that shows exactly how far the current battery reaches, one-tap routing to a chosen charger with an arrival-battery estimate, and a live charge session with a clear running cost and a friendly nudge to move off once you're done.
- MapMap Maps SDK: branded vector basemap
- Places layer: clustered, status-coloured pins
- Routing gateway: turn-by-turn to a charger
- Isochrones: the reachable-range ring
- Globe projection at altitude
↳ Pan the map, tap a charger, hit Nearest, or open the range ring.
Low-bridge capture app
Photograph a height plate, publish a verified low bridge. A crowdsourcing app aimed squarely at the UK's bridge-strike problem.
Britain records a railway bridge strike roughly every five hours. This app builds the missing dataset: four thousand official low-bridge records seeded as grey quest pins, each waiting for a contributor to photograph the statutory height plate. Signed values are recorded exactly as posted, imperial and metric kept independent, and every submission carries GPS, a capture trail and a hashed photo as evidence.
The map is the product. Height chips render straight from the routing data, a moderation console applies an asymmetric evidence bar (lowering a clearance publishes instantly; raising one needs a second independent source), and the companion route-impact view shows a height-blind car route sailing under a bridge that the dimensioned truck profile refuses.
- MapMap Maps SDK: branded vector basemap
- Custom GL layers: height-chip pins at zoom
- Truck routing: heightM-aware comparisons
- Turn-by-turn gateway: car vs truck route diff
- In-app camera capture with evidence hashing
↳ Zoom into any town, tap a grey pin, or start a bridge report.
This is one of many. We build these fast.
Fleet dashboards, delivery routers, store finders, field-service apps: if it needs a map, a route or a compliance check, it can be built on MapMap. More demos land here soon.
