Every plan includes the full API surface. Beyond the included calls, usage falls back to prepaid credit at the two-speed pay-as-you-go rate below — Standard routing and data from 0.2p per call, Premium truck and ADR compliance from 1p — so a busy month degrades to metered pricing, never to a surprise invoice. Subscriptions are billed by Stripe and apply to every verified key of your email within a minute of payment; cancel any time and the quota returns to the free tier at the period end. Every plan also raises your offline territory-map download allowance for equipping a fleet — Starter 20 GB, Growth 100 GB, Scale 500 GB a month — above the free ~2 GB evaluation cap.

Pay as you go is what agents use: issue a key in one call, top up prepaid credit, and every 402 is x402-ready for machine payment. No subscription required. The free tier needs email verification; before that, a provisional key gives you 1,000 calls over 72 hours, issued in one call with no card. Usage and balance are visible at /account and via GET /v1/keys/self.
Offline navigation in your vehicles, licensed per device.
The on-device SDK is licensed per vehicle per month and billed annually, banded by fleet size. Core covers offline navigation, ADR restrictions enforced offline, and territory updates for one region. Plus adds additional regions and priority support.
Production offline downloads live here. The free tier includes a ~2 GB/month offline-evaluation allowance — enough to install one region on a device and build an offline proof of concept. Equipping real vehicles with territory packages and ongoing over-the-air updates is included with a monthly plan (a larger download allowance) or the per-vehicle SDK licence.
Building an app rather than running a fleet? The SDKs can be metered per monthly active user instead: 1,000 MAU a month free, then 30p per additional active user from prepaid credit, with the monthly plans including 5,000 to 100,000 MAU. Your end users are never interrupted: if credit runs out we keep serving and flag the account instead.

Per-vehicle licensing is invoiced, not self-serve: we agree the band and regions with you, then bill annually. The rates above are the real rates, published so you can budget before the first conversation.

Self-hosting is a commercial relationship, not a free download. You license the platform, subscribe to fresh territory data, and choose the support that fits. The recurring value is the data: maps and truck-restriction intelligence that must stay current, signed and audited.

How billing works: keys are issued provisionally (1,000 calls / 72 h), upgraded to 50,000 calls a month on email verification, and metered per call beyond the included volume against prepaid credit at the two-speed rate — Standard routing and data from 0.2p/call, Premium truck and ADR compliance from 1p/call. A monthly plan raises the included volume on every verified key of your email, idempotently per billing period. Stripe handles cards and subscriptions; quota and credit land on the key via the gateway’s admin API.
