Solutions / Retail & Store Locators

The store locator is the shop window. Own it.

Locator maps are high-traffic, low-margin pages where metered map pricing quietly compounds. Self-hosted MapMap serves them at flat cost, styled to your brand in Studio, with clustering, brand search and static map images from the same deployment.

Why MapMap for retail

Customer experience on one side, operations on the other.

The locator serves your customers; the same engine's matrices and isochrones serve the property team choosing the next site.

Find the nearest branch, on brand

Nearby-place search answers by name, brand or category, nearest first with distances in metres. The Places layer clusters thousands of sites natively with count badges, and Studio restyles the whole map to the brand without touching client code. This is the 909-site locator from our showcase, built on exactly this stack.

A map image for every page

Static map images render branded map thumbnails for store pages, order confirmations and emails from the same deployment. Self-hosted, the marginal cost of the ten-thousandth image is zero.

Choose the next site with real travel times

Isochrones show the true drive-time or walk-time catchment of a candidate site; matrices score it against the population you care about. The same analysis behind our public coverage demos, pointed at your estate.

From the DC to the door

Retail logistics rides the same engine: truck profiles with real dimensional restrictions for DC trunking, optimisation for the home-delivery fleet, along-route search for the driver.

Flat cost at any traffic

A locator that goes viral should be a good day, not a billing incident. Docker distribution, signed territory packages, no per-load metering between your customers and your map.

Agent-first

“Where is my nearest store?” answered by agents

The hosted MCP server exposes place search, routing and geocoding to AI agents directly, so your support copilot can answer location questions with live map data instead of a stale FAQ page.

Known limit: place data comes from open sources and your own uploaded points, with a verify tool that answers verified, contradicted or unverified, never a guarantee. There is no address-autofill or checkout verification product, and no indoor maps.

Agent-first

We will build your branded locator as a working POC.

Give us your store list as a spreadsheet and your brand colours, and our AI agents will build a working, on-brand store locator on MapMap: clustering, search, routing to the door. The 909-site locator in our showcase was built in under a day; yours is the same shape.
