Agent answers that end on a map.
A view link is a plan carried in a URL. An agent that plans a route, a day of stops or a whole fleet hands back a /view link instead of a table: open it and the stops are on the map at once, with each route redrawn by MapMap routing. No key, no account, nothing stored on our side.
What the link carries
- The stops, in visit order, as coordinates and names: up to 6 routes of 2 to 22 stops each.
- The vehicle (car, truck with its dimensions and dangerous-goods declaration, bicycle, walking or motor scooter), an optional title, departure time and per-stop arrival clocks.
- The agent's own totals, shown as "as planned" beside the figures redrawn when you open the link, never in place of them.
- Nothing else: no key, no email, no account. The whole URL stays under 6,000 characters; a plan too big for that is trimmed (arrival clocks first, then dwell times, then names) or not linked at all.
for agents · composing a view link
# A view link is base64url of compact JSON (UTF-8, no padding): {"v":1,"kind":"route","costing":"auto","routes":[{"stops":[ {"lat":51.5309,"lon":-0.1233,"name":"Kings Cross"}, {"lat":51.5033,"lon":-0.1196,"name":"London Eye"}]}]} # In a shell: P=$(printf '%s' "$JSON" | base64 | tr '+/' '-_' | tr -d '=\n') echo "https://mapmap.ai/view?p=$P"
The full contract, with the canonical encoding and a golden example: /docs/view-links. More agent surface: /agents.
