What it does

The aurora probability grid: a 360 by 181 8-bit grey PNG, one byte per cell holding the probability in percent, column 0 at 180 W, row 0 at 90 N. A forecast, not an observation. Never served stale: a forecast older than an hour, or no file, is 404 aurora-unavailable. Carries an ETag; If-None-Match answers 304. One Standard unit per request.
